ElectraFloor ESD flooring Conductivity and Specifications

The following data represents electrical test results after installation at two locations in separate parts of the United States Testing was performed in accordance with industry accepted standards of EOS ESD 7.1. These floors were installed "on grade" and on concrete.   Further, the floors were grounded utilizing standard parameters shown in How to Ground your new ESD Floor.  Your results may vary due to substrate, substrate conditions and environmental conditions prevalent in your location.  As is the case with many of the modern ESD Vinyl's, ElectraFloor  is designed to work as a system in conjunction with C-2000, US C-2000R or URAS conductive adhesive.  When testing uninstalled, the static dissipative material (without the adhesive) will show a slightly higher resistance value than those posted in our electrical specifications (prevalent only with the static dissipative materials).  ElectraFloor static dissipative is designed with a built in resistance value that provides added safety to employees that may come into contact with higher voltage / amperage power sources. This added resistance has shown minimal effect in it's ability to control ESD.

Maintenance: Maintenance is dependant on the nature and intensity of traffic and the specific requirements of the end user. To keep cost low, without compromising standards of hygiene and cleanliness, United ESD recommends that a maintenance regime be specifically tailored to your needs. Polishes or floor finishes that inhibit the floors electrical performance must not be used. Remove abrasives by sweeping on a regular basis. Damp mop with warm water and approved United ESD's ElectraClean as needed. A clean floor insures consistent electrical performance. ElectraFloor ESD Vinyl is initially supplied with a non-glare finish.  If your needs require a high shine, simply burnish the material with a high speed floor buffing machine or consider the use of United ESD ElectraGlaze ESD Floor Finish Why wax an esd floor?  It's obvious!
