carpet tiles provide

and protect sophisticated electronics from the damaging effects of
an electrostatic discharge! Mere anti-static carpeting simply reduces the
static discharge to less than what a person can feel (about 3,000 volts).

discharges of less than 1,000 volts! A static discharge from an employee to
a sophisticated electronic device or network cable can wreak havoc!
