ESD Flooring/ESD Concrete Sealer

ElectraSeal ESD concrete sealer is specifically formulated to meet the stringent new "Green" building Standards. The VOC content of ElectraSeal is 54g/L (grams per liter) or 0.458 pounds per gallon, depending upon which your customer wants.  Below is a copy of the federal VOC calculation used in our testing and our results using this calculation:

 Voc Content = (W_s-W_w-W_ec)

                      (V_m-V_w-V_ec)

Where:

Voc Content = grams of VOC per liter of coating

W_s = weight of non volatiles, in grams

W_w = weight of water, in grams

W_ec= weight of exempt compounds, in grams

V_m = volume of coating, in liters

V_w = volume of water, in liters

V_ec = volume of exempt compounds in liters

Following that calculation with the numbers for the ElectraSeal provides the following results:

 

Voc Content = (7.3716-6.3635-0.0349)

                             (8.5341-6.3635-0.0349)

 

                        = (0.9732)

                            (2.1357)

 

                       = 0.4557 pounds per gallon which when converted gives the following

 

                       = 54.4 grams per liter of VOC
